No, that's pretty much reserved for those who have been impeached, Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton or resigned because they knew they'd be impeached (Richard Nixon).

    Not necessarily a bad thing...

Calling ALL republicans "shitstains", "pedophiles", etc. is a bit over the top...

FYI, the thread you're quoting, was refering to the LEADERS of the gop. I never called "ALL" republicans those things. Only those involved in the cover-up and defense of Foleys actions, or more accurately, those defending the way the gop leaders acted.
If someone takes that personally, or is offended by that assertion, as were many on this bb, and immediately jump into the thread and aggressively attack me, I have to look at them with a very large degree of suspicion.

Go back and read the beginning of that thread, and take a good hard look at where the real personal insults started.

Funny how they're the one still throwing around personal insults here.

Agreed Roham. Barry uses just about every opportunity possible to inject his extreme and hateful political views even when it's entirely inapporpriate and it goes downhill from there.

Speaking of which, Barry did say this:
    BTW,
This is my last post to this thread,
and has posted at least four times since then continuing to keep the discussion "off topic." I wonder how many more "last posts" we're going to see from him.

Well, when he posts that "this is my last post in this thread" and continues to post and whine, it makes him look like a immature fool.

I dunno Barry - you said this...

Yep, call me crazy, just because I'm sick and tired of the retarded, chickenhawk, scandalous, criminal, child-molesting, radical religious fuck-tards that are the repuglican party.
Seems pretty clear to me you were pointing the finger at the ENTIRE republican party - not just the leadership.... Because I'm a part of the republican party, does that make me one of those too? I suppose there is a limit in there somewhere, Barry - I'm just really not sure where it is - and I'd have to make some awfully big assumptions to meet with your most recent definition because I don't see the word "leadership" anywhere in that statement...

I can dig up more, but I'm tired and crabby right now...

Besides - I don't like anyone trampling on the American flag - using it as a door mat - burning it - spitting on it - hanging it upside down... I also really don't like anyone calling the president a "shitstain" for the same reason. I didn't like it when Clinton was in office (even though I didn't like the things he was doing) - I don't like it when Bush is in office... It's an issue of respect for our whole government institution - whether or not I agree with the current policies - it's still our country and deserves our respect...

I've said all the way back to when I was a snot nosed teenager and a pretty doggone radical liberal - if ya don't like it - change it - if you are unwilling to do what it takes to change it (I mean action, not pissing and moaning), move somewhere else where it's more suitable to your tastes...

(BTW - If you're asking me to play connect-the-dots with your statements to come to some sort of conclusions, could you please label them a little more clearly. I don't see the "A", "B", "C", etc. in your statements)

BTW - I don't know what the others commenting in these threads are doing this mid-term election season. I'm surmising they're probably voting - which is a good start... However, I have to say - I respect Bill in this fight primarily because he's out in the trenches - going door to door - looking for votes. He's up on his local issues. He's devoted a lot of time and effort into working on campaigns. He's very actively involved in the process - and has been doing that for as long as I've known him. That is the "action" I speak of...

I'm just a voter. I don't often participate in a campaign (other than from time to time sticking a sign in my yard). While I think my opinions are valid, in reality - my opinions hold the same water as other opinions by fellow voters - until the others demonstrate to me they're doing more than just talking and voting, the opinions expressed are just like mine - a lot of hot air...

But I'm quite sure the other side sees it differently...

Could you please quote the post# in the thread "GOP Condones Pedophiles Actions" that you have quoted, cause I didn't find it. We were talking about the same thread, right? Or are you intermixing threads here?
Also, did I do something to the American Flag that I don't remember? Where did that crap come from?
I will give respect when it's earned/or deserved. I reserve my right to free speech and expression of my disdain for the current that just happens to be in office now, which is a long practiced tradition in this Country. Pretty doggone radical liberal that's a good one! As far as the rest of that paragraph, you have NO idea what my involvement is in the political process. So any comments of yours on that subject are just you talking out of your .
Connecting the dots isn't necessary, only an inkling of common sense. I guess some people just have it, and some...well you know...or maybe you don't.

Barry - please let me know what you're doing in the political process, aside from espousing pretty incredibly hate filled posts about the Republicans on a cigar board. If you are as active as Bill is - I would have to say I would it would be hard for me not to respect your involvement. But to be honest, most of what I've seen has been information I've seen in the mainstream press, and I know Bill is way more involved in the political process than you could be (you have a full time career - while Bill works full time, and then some, involved in politics).

And you made that above statement very early on in the communism thread. That's a pretty all-encompassing statement. If you're attacking the republican leadership in one thread, and expecting others to follow that logic to other threads - you're going to have to make it a bit clearer. I wasn't closely following your discussion in the pedophile thread - so I can't see where you can expect me to carry over your disdain for the leadership into another thread where you clearly say "republicans" (the whole tamale) and have me draw the connection you were talking about the Republican leadership.

And yes - I was a pretty doggone radical liberal at one point in my life. I hate to admit it, but it's true... You had me then you lost me...

Prior to Reagan's election, I was about as disgusted with the Republicans as you are now. I spoke as radically as you do, Barry, against electing "Ronny Raygun" (as I liked to call him) believing he was going to bring a war monger mentality into the White House. Well - years later - Reagan ended up making a believer out of me.

I see the self-righteous, radical right-winger that is Bill, can't stop with his hate filled chimp-screaming personal attacks. And then you say I haven't toned it down.
Hey Billy, how about this, if you think I'm still being too off-color for you, why don't you and your "crew" start a ban poll. It's easy, just keep hounding hex with your pm's to get him to start one. Go ahead, you're good at stalking people on the internet.

I do what I can. Since I do have a real job, and can't rely on others money to survive, I don't get to do as much as I would like.
I do, however, donate quite a bit of money to many different campaigns, I drive several truck-loads of people to the polls on election days, during my lunch break and after work. I have provided my opinion, on request, to several State Reps pertaining to legislation that would effect the Veterinary Field.
But what you're really alluding to here is that unless someone is running for some political office, they don't get to have a political opinion. If that's your assertion, it's ridiculous. Every single person in this Country has every right to voice their opinion, and when their political officials are as corrupt and useless as the present admin., it's their DUTY to voice it, any way they can.

How about lets put that statement in context with your previous statement...

Hmmm, you were talking about replacing the present admin., with a Democratic one, ie. replacing the LEADERSHIP. But you can continue to stretch that any way you want, and pretend not to be able to follow the thread. I don't know, maybe you really are having difficulty following things.

If you were "converted" by ronny, you were never really a liberal.
