This is done by changing the type of leaves from the foot to the cap. So although your not going to melt or burst in to flames for doing it. I read somewhere that lighting the wrong end would adversely affect the draw and burn because of the direction of the roll, and the taste would be affected because of different characteristics of the different parts of the leaf. But I can't find it again, so I don't know if it was credible. And, of course, the thing's gonna have some serious problems staying together.
