Back when I was a kid there was a Warner Brothers cartoon character named Foghorn Leghorn He spoke in a very uneducated southern drawl and usually started his sentences with a couple of words, a pause, then "I say", then he would repeat the words again and finish his sentence. Something like

"Son, ah believe... ah say... Ah believe there's a chicken in the hen house!"

The translation would be

"I have... I say... I have arrived!"

meaning simply that the name calling has begun.
So far, I am a liar and an asswipe.
