if you're sure that it WAS delivered....maybe an outing is in order...but only if you're positive about delivery....USPS has been known to screw up...
It doesn't take much to type a simple thank you PM or a thread. That's the least someone could do if they were gifted something. It's especially wrong if you sent a follow up email/pm and still no acknowledgement or thanks. If you're sure it was delivered, I'm with BPP on this one. This is a very generous community and moochers should be shown the door.
I'm not sure it was delivered or not. I asked it it was. You'd think you'd hear back if it was or wasn't.
Like I said I'm not really looking for anything for myself or out to expose someone, just want to set some guidelines for stuff like this in the future. Overall I think it was a pretty sorry gesture on his part.
put it out in the open and see what happens...if you sent emails asking if a gift was delivered and still get no response....well,that's just not right.....
If I send something out I would be offended if I did not get an email stating they rcvd package. A thank you is even better.
When I rcv a package I make it a point to send a message ASAP acknowldging rcpt of package and a big thank you. Someone sent me sticks from THEIR stash and paid shipping so that I may enjoy something I did not have before.
I would be upset. Even an email saying..I never got it. I would hope the person would be dead or moved to ethiopia unexpectedly.
Lord knows I hope you're not talking about me......The smoke you sent me still sits comfortably in my humidor waiting to be smoked.![]()
