If I send something out I would be offended if I did not get an email stating they rcvd package. A thank you is even better.

When I rcv a package I make it a point to send a message ASAP acknowldging rcpt of package and a big thank you. Someone sent me sticks from THEIR stash and paid shipping so that I may enjoy something I did not have before.

I would be upset. Even an email saying..I never got it. I would hope the person would be dead or moved to ethiopia unexpectedly.

Lord knows I hope you're not talking about me......The smoke you sent me still sits comfortably in my humidor waiting to be smoked.

A rank noob might not notice their IM box has mail? It could happen.
I once went a few days before I noticed I had a message.
I'd find it hard to believe a BOTL would not respond to a gift.

I would have dropped a thank you especially if I didn't know it was coming. I'd be more incline to be late on saying thank you on something I new was coming if I was busy. However, I would never ignore an email, PM's and posts, I might not check for awhile, but, an email is an every day thing.
