    OOOooooo, the SINGLE MALTS!!

The first three I got from AVB over on CigarPass, the fouth one (a relatively cheap Glenlivet 12yo) I've had forever and the last one was a gift from a BOTL as part of a cigar bet!

The third bottle, the Glenfiddich 21yo "Gran Reserva" is absolutely heavenly!! I was never a big single malt fan until AVB turned me onto this stuff and WOW is it GREAT!!

    Ahhhhh, the Rums!

Cheap Baccardi for mixing, Myers Dark Jamaican Rum (my favorite for rum & cokes), Mount Gay (a Barbados medium rum), Captain Morgan (I hate this shit but one of my card playing buddies drinks this crap by the gallons, LMAO!) and a nice bottle of Havana Club!!

LMAO!! Yeah, like I said, I'm not a vodka connoisseur so I just keep the Smirnoffs on hand for mixing and I have a couple of friends that like Absolut and Stoli on the rocks.

Are they really THAT bad, again, I really don't know much about vodka...

Stoli isn't the worst but I don't like it. I have drank many of vodka in my drinking day. Only top shelf stuff will do. I can tell 95% of the time if a vodka is good quality from the smell and taste. This may sound weird and think it's not possible but I can tell a quality vodka in a blind taste test after 5-6 drinks. After 5-6 of a crappy vodka like a Absolute my neck stiffens up and I can barely move it. Like I sleeping on it wrong all night and you got to turn your whole body just to turn your head to see something. It's crazy sounding but true

A thread near and dear to my heart. I don't have room for a bar but seeing your photos has me wanting to sell my house and move.

Has anyone tried Van Gough Vodka? My favorite is Belevdere.

I've wanted to try VanGough but always had a feeling I wouldn't like.
Belevdre is a good quality but my taste buds don't like it. I tried to tell them it's good but they just won't agree.

    COMB2,
Your taste buds must be way more refined than mine. Many times I have done a side by side comparison and then only good vodka I can pick out of the line up is Chopin.

    Maybe I'm just a lush???

Chopin is a potato vodka. The only Top shelf potato I belive. It does have a different taste though, havent had any in a long time. Nice collection. Vox is good stuff to

If anyone wants to try a good vodka at a good price try Rain Vodka. Made in the USA too

RAIN Vodka is the only vodka made exclusively from organically-grown American grain on Fizzle Flat Farms in Yale, Illinois
