I used to have a Xikar cutter but one day the plastic moulding started to come off. I got sick of sticking it back on, so I stopped using it. Since then I bought an all-metal Xikar, which I recently lost or misplaced, and am much happier with the new one.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
I dropped mine in a parking lot. When I realized it and went to look for it, it was already run over by a few cars. Needless to say it didn't spring open any more. I sent it back to them and they had no problem sending me a new one. Took awhile longer then 2 weeks though, probably cause I live in Canada though. They are great, and I'm sure you won't have any problems. Let us know how it goes.

The Rosewood handles were loose on mine. I returned it and got a brand new one, no questions asked. You may not like the turnaround time, but the unconditional guarantee is just that.
This reminds me of an amusing old CP thread of mine a couple of years back. Let's see if I can find it...

Have you ever thought about maybe turning off the TV, sitting down with your kids...and hitting them?
I bought an xi2 that literally exploded in my hands when I went to use it. I took it back to the store. I also paid way too much there. I am going to probably buy a regular Xi soon, or a palio.
