    I can tell the difference in after-tastes between good and bad cigars, or cigars that need more rest. But a really good, well aged cigar, seems to me to have a pleasant after-taste. Maybe it's just me...

    I've been considering the same question, but it does seem to be (newb and all) that the quality and aging is related to this. It definitely varies from one cigar to another. Last night I had a Tabak Especial Dulce and being that I was drinking a bit (if you measure "bit" in litres) I forgot to brush. No remaining tastes this morning. But others actually come back even after brushing.
