Yeah I've been turned down for a DC# to Canada as well. Both times I was told that delivery confirmation wasn't available for international packages but that doesn't really make any sense. I know that DHL and other private carriers do it so why wouldn't USPS? I think they were just lazy/stupid. But that's interesting that you can track the customs number. Atleast someone at your PO cared enough to take the extra second to let you know. Thanks for the info.

No, being lazy/stupid is needing to get a DC on a package mailed 2 months late.
USPS policy is no DC to any international packages. It may not have always been that way but it has been policy since at least early November. While DC may work on an internationally shipped package, it is still the POLICY of the Post Office not to offer or sell it.

I was just sharing that I've had this happen too.
Yeah, the fellow BOTL who was waiting for his package for 2 months also had it happen to him.
