I keep a journal too. Helps keep track of what's good and isn't. I do what everyone else seems to do, tape the band into a notebook and write down price, size, ratings etc
Good way to remember what you like and what you don't.

You're confusing me there Scroto, you say you use it and enjoy it and immediately follow that with you haven't used it lately because you've found something better.Originally Posted by SFG75

It seems to me that if you feel so compelled to respond in a thread where the thread originator was talking about a cigar journal, a more HONEST end genuine response from you would be:
"I tried something like that once but lost interst. I find blogging much easier."
But once again, you cannot resist the urge to pander and leg-hump. You are so shallow and insincere it's actually laughable.
Oh as to the matter at hand, I never kept a cigar journal. Those people who I know started them lost interest rather quickly. I think that once you get more experience smoking cigars, your "sense" of what is a good cigar for you will come to you almost automatically (like riding a bike does once you learn how) which negates the need for you to refer back to some notes that probably won't make much sense once you know more about cigars.

I keep a detailed journal that includes a short description of the smoking experience, a rating, a price, the store purchased from, country of origin, size, brand, etc. I also use 2 journals. One for Cuban's and one for other countries.
