I like Guiness but the bitterness takes a bit of getting used to. A really nicely kept pint of Guiness is one of life's real treats.

Oatmeal Stout is smoother and makes for an interesting change of pace. Bottles of Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout are fairly easy to find in the better liquor stores and bars in Houston: a couple of places even have it on tap. Mmmmm.

Young's Double Chocolate Stout is pretty tasty.
