I'd call an attorney just in case - they'll usually give you a free consultation to see if you have a case.
Good luck.
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.
What I read said that all that applies if the car is less than 4 years old. I'll read through it again tomorrow (when I'm sober). Thanks buddy!
WOW, I had to proofread that 3 times...
Where's the smiley with a glass (read: big mug) of rum???
I had the same site mauied I was going to post. I would also look at the paper work you signed. You might have a 60 day warranty. The dealer might give you at the very least something comparable to drive.![]()

That really sucks.
I don't know about VA specific laws, but in most States, with a car that old, it's caveat emptor. And, most of the time, your warranty ends when you drive it off the lot.
Sorry to hear about the car. Reminds me of some of mine. My dad gave me this one Pontiac. Talk about a real POS. They tried fixing it and couldnt figure it out so he gives it to me. Luckily my room mate in College at the time was following me back to the dorms 250 miles away. We get about 50 miles to the destination and BOOM. The engine blew. It had a pile of smoke behind it like ya see from the Space Shuttle launch.
thepyrofish sorry about your luck bro. It will all work out in the long run for you. Alawys remember this lesson you have learned about the quality of GM vehicles when you purchase a new vehicle one day. oh yeah ,that motherfucking sucks huge donkey dicks that your godamn piece of shit used turd of a car croaked on the godamn beltway. LOL

I've got a '99 SC1 for sale if you're looking for a replacement.![]()
If your car ends up being broken you might as well just get rid of it as soon as you can. The thing about Saturns is if you blow up your engine, it becomes basically worthless. Since it is made out of plastic, the junkyard might give you a couple hundred to throw it away.
I also think they have a really poor resale value, so the best thing to do with a Saturn is get one for cheap and then just run it into the ground.
End of line.
That's what I did alright. Seized up so good that 4 guys couldn't move it in 3rd gear...![]()
