Default Warning...Foul Language. (Need to vent)

AAAAAAAAAAA GOD DAMN IT COCK SUCKER MOTHER FUCKER FUCK FUCK FUCK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

I toasted my car today. I bought an old saturn (94) when I came to the US so I could use it to work for the summer. I put myself into debt for this job. A few thousand dollars altogether. Turns out that 1, work here is a little slower right now than we all had hoped. Crappy, but I made my choice to come here and I'll live with it. 2, Some of the dummy lights/ guages on the car I bought don't work properly. Apparently the coolant low light and the "really fucking hot engine" light only work if you hit the dash really hard. Also, sometimes when you start the car the temperature guage just never moves up. Again, a firm swat to the guage cluster will take care of it. If you remember to swat the cluster. This is a bad combination of quirks. Even worse is when you have an unknown blockage somewhere in the coolant system that makes it appear as if your reservoir and radiator are full, even though the engine has no coolant. Motherfucker seized on me on the Beltway. Now I can't afford to fix it, nor replace it and therefore cannot afford to work. I may have to hit my dad up for plane fare home, since I can't exactly drive the Saturn back as per my original plan. Damnit I'm supposed to be a grown fucking man, it kills me everytime I have to go back to him for help 'cause I fuck something else up. At least I bought some cigars before the car broke, as I sure can't afford any more now. (NOT A MOOCH, sne dme shit at your own peril...seriously)

Ok, I'm done. I just needed to get that out. If its a little hard to read blame Captain Morgan. I'm pissed off and just plain pissed. Bootlegging for teh win!

I think I'm going to have a cigar, I hope I can appreciate it with all this liqor...liqer...all this booze in me.

EDIT: The car is being towed home as we speak...I hope the driver doesn't try to rip me of in my "wekaened state". I've had just enought o do something stupid, like think I can win a fight.

I thought it was in good condition, but I've only owned it a month or so. I bought it from a used dealer in Manassas, and it was pretty shady place but I needed a car quick. I only wanted it to run for the summer. I could care less after that.

    Hey Pyro:

    http://www.carlaws.com/

    http://autopedia.com/html/LemonLaw/VA_lemonlaw.html

    Virginia Lemon Law Summary

    * Eligibility: 3 unsuccessful repairs, or 1 repair attempt of serious safety defect, or 30 calendar days out of service within 18 months.
    * Resolution Attempt: Written notice to manufacturer. If 3 unsuccessful repairs or 30 days already exhausted before notice, manufacturer has 1 more repair attempt not to exceed 15 days.
    * State has certified guidelines for arbitration. Law specifically applies to leased vehicles.

I'd call an attorney just in case - they'll usually give you a free consultation to see if you have a case.

    Good luck.
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.

What I read said that all that applies if the car is less than 4 years old. I'll read through it again tomorrow (when I'm sober). Thanks buddy!

WOW, I had to proofread that 3 times...

I had the same site mauied I was going to post. I would also look at the paper work you signed. You might have a 60 day warranty. The dealer might give you at the very least something comparable to drive.

    That really sucks.

I don't know about VA specific laws, but in most States, with a car that old, it's caveat emptor. And, most of the time, your warranty ends when you drive it off the lot.

Sorry to hear about the car. Reminds me of some of mine. My dad gave me this one Pontiac. Talk about a real POS. They tried fixing it and couldnt figure it out so he gives it to me. Luckily my room mate in College at the time was following me back to the dorms 250 miles away. We get about 50 miles to the destination and BOOM. The engine blew. It had a pile of smoke behind it like ya see from the Space Shuttle launch.

Thanks, but at this point (long story) I'm just looking for a scrap yard and a plane ticket home. Love this country, but I love mine more.

If your car ends up being broken you might as well just get rid of it as soon as you can. The thing about Saturns is if you blow up your engine, it becomes basically worthless. Since it is made out of plastic, the junkyard might give you a couple hundred to throw it away.

I also think they have a really poor resale value, so the best thing to do with a Saturn is get one for cheap and then just run it into the ground.
    End of line.
