I have confessed to being a Republican, as unpopular as that seems to be this year, but I have crossed party lines in the past and will do so again. DW1, you have many of the same beliefs I do. I don't think we (repubs & dems) are so different as individuals, nor do I see a huge difference in our hearts, which is why I don't judge a person by their political views. People seem to get along and enjoy each other until a political party is mentioned, then they get hateful with each other. I also don't see a big difference in politicians, no matter what side of the isle they are seated on. They are all wrapped up in the game, and if they aren't when they take office, it doesn't take them long to get into the swing of things. But when it comes right down to it, I am disappointed with the "leadership" provided by both parties. I was disappointed with Clinton and I am disappointed with Bush. I have thought of not casting a ballot this year, but when it comes down to it, I will because it is really the only power I have. After election day it will all be back in the hands of our "leaders."
