Paul, over on CPass there is a tread called: I know I keep saying I have a cool wife, But, she's outdone herself this time which touches on your topic of interest. Here is the link:

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

In Maryland, I normally smoke in any of the Baltimore Bars. I perfer the Owl Bar, which is in the Old Belvedere Hotel (The Owl Bar was actually around during prohibition and was a speak easy). So far there is no smokeing ban, but it is in the works (it didn't pass in December).

Mauied, you could hit up merchants on the E. Side, I believe the Velvet Lounge in the E. Village is open again. The Davidoff stores have lounges. Club Macanudo is actually a great place, but you have a 20 dollar minimum, 10 of which must go to a cigar (grandfather claused businesses still have to show a certain percentage of profits coming from tobacco). Other than merchants though, the places I listed all expect you to buy there.

Anyone know of cigar-friendly spots in the southern metro of the Twin Cities? I know about Stogies on Grand, but living north of New Prague, I don't get that direction very often.

If anyone ever happens to be in the Southern Alabama/Mississippi area or Northwest part of Florida, let me know and i'll hook you up with friendly places in Mobile, there aren't alot... nothing worth listing in detail, but i'll certainly be happy you set anyone up who is passing through.

If any of you are ever in Vancouver, drop on down to the #5 orange and smoke one in the smoke room. Sorry no waitress service in there but the view is amazing!
