The truth is, I never had a bug up my ass for you until the thread I quoted. I have to admit, I wondered why you were constantly in the middle of one thing or another, but I didn't put two and two together until that thread.

So shelby, you sure whine and make up a whole lot of complete BS about me yet you don't find sid's behavior the least bit objectionable? He's downright nasty, vulgar, rude and insulting to MANY new people and drives many people away from here.

Is this about me or Sid? If it's about me, then why do you continually bring him into it? I am friends with Sid, yes. As a matter of fact, Sid was the one who helped me to understand this board when I first joined. I made some newbie mistakes and the general concensus was "don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out." Far from chasing me away, Sid's efforts kept me here. That's more that I can say for you. The way I see it, you think that this is your sandbox and anyone who challenges you need to be chased down the block. Sid's a big boy. I don't need to defend him and you don't need my opinion to condemn him. Why is it so important to you to get MY opinion about what Sid did or didn't do, say or mean?

I haven't posted anything about you in months. It was all part of letting it die and respecting Hex's request that we ALL do so. You were the one who couldn't let go. My "extreme rantings" have been brought on by your own extreme rantings, your constant badgering and my unwillingness to put up with it any more. Don't try to twist the truth by attempting to be the victim here. From where I sit, and apparantly from some of the replies and PM's I've been getting, you are the irritant and the agitator here.

You talk about George "being just plain wrong" but you ought to look in the mirror yourself. Do you really think it's okay for sid to post hate-filled anti homosexual videos on this site?

George is a good friend to you and I can't fault him for that. I just can't figure out why he thinks what you are doing is OK. As for what I think of Sid's posting, apparantly you already have that one figured out. The ease at which you can come to a conclusion with absolutely no input from anyone but yourself is disturbing. There are a lot of things on this board that I don't think are appropriate - your behavior on this board is one of them. I could tell you what I think, but what's the use? You'd twist it to suit your own agenda. Besides, this is supposed to be an unmoderated board.

The truth of the matter is that you showed me long ago that you can't have a civil conversation without constantly insulting people who may have a different opinion about something. I choose not to put up with your constant badgering so I have decided to leave. I was going to do it quietly until you decided to start it up again with your constant questioning about Sid's post. If I thought for one minute I could answer that question and you might give any validity to what I was saying, I would have discussed it with you. But I know it would have been useless. I'm sure that no matter what I said, the outcome would have been the same. You have an ability and apparantly a driving need to take things that were said and blow them up out of the context they were originally intended to suit your agenda. I will say that if you knew Sid you would know that his intent was never to insult or belittle. It was a joke, perhaps a bad one, but a joke none the less - a good natured jab at someone he liked. Everyone saw it and nobody objected until you brought it up and twisted it into something it was never meant to be so you could drag up your campaign against Sid again.

It's too bad that others don't call you out for what you do. Maybe then you'd see what many members on this board really think of your antics. The good you supposedly do for this board is far outweighted by the harm you do to it. In fact, I really see nothing you do to make this board a better place.
