    Default CI's Advertisement Mistake and Inability to fix

    I received an email from CI about free shipping on any order which contains the RP Fusion. Well, I ordered a 5 pack and when I received my confirmation email, they charged me shipping. I called CI about this and was told that the special was for a box purchase. I let them know that the ad nor the actual RP Fusion page says anything about a box, only "Receive Free Ground Shipping on your whole order when you purchase RP Fusion
    this week!" Understanding its a mistake on their part, they still refused to make good on their free shipping. I'm still awaiting a phone call back from a Boss but It offends me that CI cannot help out its customers when CI screws up and eat the shipping costs. Anyone else run into this with CI?

    Cancel your order if it has not shipped yet. Make them realized they just lost business from you for not keeping you satisfied with your order. Good luck.

    CI is stingy as hell when it comes to things like that. I bought a sampler from them a while back, containing a great variety of low and high end cigars. The cigars averaged out to $2.50-$3 a piece after shipping. Two of the best and most expensive (in the $8+ range) cigars in the sampler were cracked when they got to me. I called and asked for a cigar replacement, and was told that they couldn't ship two cigars. Instead, they would offer me a refund for the two cigars. I said that this was acceptable, and asked for a refund in the amount of the cigar's value on their site. They refused, and told me that the best they could do was give me back $2 per cigar (which was even less than the average price). Absolutely ridiculous. I won't be ordering from them again until they can get their customer service straightened out. There's no excuse for a company that size to fuck over customers.

    I've ordered several times from CI and have not had a problem with them yet. But if they try to screw me over, it will be the last time I order from them.

    I agree with you CJ that they said free shipping and they should honor it. It's right there in black and white and I don't see any wiggle room.

    Yeah I have only used them a couple times and had no problem, but that is BS they should pay for the shipping!

    Well, I called them again and the lady who picked up ended up refunding the shipping. I'm happy about that. However, with the BS that I had to go through, and their piss-poor customer service, CI can kiss my ass.

    I agree, that's is piss poor customer service. However, you did get the shipping free!

    Or you could have done what I did last time CI didn't want to make good on some sticks that were damaged.

    After I got the packaged and after about 30 mins if being on hold and being transferred around I just told them to send me a shipping label and I'll ship the whole thing back.

    So not only did they have to pay to ship it to me, they had to pay to get it shipped back.

    That sounds like horrible customer service you experiance CJ. I'm suprised since I order a bit from them and never had any problems. It's too bad they don't have better customer service and actually care about there customers.
